Bright & Beautiful

At a recent Stampin' Up! downline meeting, one of the attendees showed us a tip where you color the white portions of the Back to Black designer series paper.  I decided to use this tip and color the white portions of the metallic snowflake paper which is part of the All is Calm designer series papers.  I think it turned out really well.  I embossed the star with white embossing powder on Smoky Slate cardstock and then sponged the paper using Night of Navy ink in a circular motion starting in the center so by the time I got out to the edges, it was not coloring anymore.

Have you tried out the Hearts & Stars Mask yet?  It is so cool!  Using the Encore Metallic Silver ink, I sponged the stars all over a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.

Finally, I used the All is Claim washi tape along the sides of the colored paper.
Here is the inside of my card.  Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving use a few large sentiments for the insides of our cards this year!
