Another Honeycomb Happiness Card...

Here is another card using the chick from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set.  I hope you ordered it while it was available because, well, he's just so darn cute!  On this card we used So Saffron and Daffodil Delight ink to color him.  We used a Blushing Bride marker to color the balloon and an aqua painter to create a wash over the sentiment on the small scallop circle.  Just make sure you heat set your ink a bit before doing the wash - or just do it first!
Here is the inside of the card using the sentiment from Remembering Your Birthday and the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

I'm Back & Boy, Do I Have Some Catching Up to Do!

So, I take off for vacation back in February (really, that long ago?) and have posts ready for you for most of the time that I am gone.  Then I get sick as soon as I get home and then ..... what?  How id it become so long?  Oh well, I am back and have lots of projects to share with you!

Did you get the cute little Honeycomb Happiness stamp set during Sale-A-Bration and thought you were limited to it being a little chick?  Nope, how about an adorable little song bird?  Just cut off his legs (ouch!) and create a little top knot for him and you have a little bird.  The branch is from the World of Dreams stamp set.  The little bird is just hiding the birds and nest!  The bird was embossed using Basic Black Archival ink and clear embossing powder and then sponged using So Saffron, Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red inks.  I then outlined the branches using the gold Wink of Stella.
Here is the inside of the card.  Again the birds and nest are hidden by the birthday sentiment from Tag Talk.
