Getting Ready for Wedding Season

I saw a card on Splitcoaststampers where the very talented artist had a woven heart and I thought this would be perfect for a wedding card.  I used a retired heart die to cut out the heart but great news!  Stampin' Up! is offering a new collection of heart framelits in the upcoming 2016-2017 annual catalog so you will be able to recreate this card very soon!  I took a piece of 3" x 3" cardstock and used Fast Fuse along the four edges.  Beginning in the center, place 2 ribbon strips (3 1/2" strips) side by side vertically.  Next, place 2 strips horizontally, weaving them in with the two vertical strips.  Continue moving outward, weaving as you go.  Make sure each ribbon is secured down around the outside.  Trim to mount behind the cut heart so the ribbon weaves diagonally.  Finally, place pearls at each "intersection" of the ribbon.
