Unexpected Results...

 Have you ever tried a technique that you found online - perhaps even on my blog - and ended up with something a little off from what the technique originally was supposed to look like?  This here is an example of that.  The original technique has you running Basic Black cardstock through the Big Shot using the Lovely Lace embossing folder, lightly running Versamark ink over the raised portions and embossing using Whisper White embossing powder.  You were to then color the white embossing powder using alcohol markers.  Well, that is what I did, except that the Versamark ink hit in some of the unraised portions and the embossing powder didn't release from other areas as well so I ended up heat setting it anyway.  I colored the raised images and the background area stayed a spray of white embossing powder.  I actually think it turned out pretty cool!  It was a hit at class!  We also colored the rhinestones using the Blendabilities.

Here on the inside, we used the Lovely Lace embossing folder and then used a sponge and ink to color the raised portions.  The centers were then colored using the Blendabilities.

Work of Art Stamp Set...

 Here is a card that I CASE'D from Sandi MacIver on SCS.  I love how these colors work so well together.

I switched things up on this card and went with a washi tape for the inside of the card instead of using any stamped images.  All of the images seemed to big for the inside of the card.

Moon Lake Stamp Set....

 Life gets busy and blogging comes to a halt it seems!  It also means that I have a backlog of cards to share with you - including some with products that are no longer available.  This is one such card but I still wanted to share it with you.  You just might have these items in your stampin' stash and can pull them out.

This card blends (pardon the pun!) the Blendabilities and watercolor for coloring.  This image from Moon Lake is a perfect one for watercolor and/or alcohol markers.
