Snowflake Flip Card

This card was inspired by one that I saw on Jackie Topa's website.  The thing that I really thought was clever is how she took the snowflake shape and wrapped it around a gift card and attached it to the inside of the card so you can add a gift card to the card.  I found that putting glue dots on the back of the folded snowflake pieces and pressing it to the card with the gift card still inside helped to make the snowflake not distort.

Let me guess.... you have grabbed your Holiday catalog and looked at the Snowflake Card Thinlit die and do not see that Night of Navy snowflake!  It is there - you just have a couple of steps to do to get it.  First, take a 4"x4" piece of cardstock and lay it over the snowflake portion of the Snowflake Card die.  Run it through your Big Shot.  Remove it from the die and flip it 180 degrees and put it back down inside the die so the cut portions are fit inside the die.  Run it through again and voila - you have a snowflake!
