Stampin' Up!'s 2015-2017 In Colors...

When this year's In Colors were announced, lots of demonstrators began making card groupings to highlight the cards and coordinating supplies.  One of my customers found a card posted on the internet (I am sorry I don't know whose artwork) and asked if we could do a couple cards like that.  She followed that up by asking for an old-style box to go with them.  Here's what I came up with.  The box is made using the embossed paper from Sale-A-Bration but Stampin' Up! followed that up with the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper which you could use.
Here is a close up image of one of the cards in the Watermelon Wonder.  There are hundred of stamping companies vying for our craft dollars these days but you cannot beat the coordination that Stampin' Up! offers!  I can always count on all of their products working seamlessly together.

Center Step Card - Stampin' Up!'s Papillon Potpourri

Here's a card I came across that we did back in April but I just love it so I thought I would still share it with you.  The sentiment and border image are retired but you can certainly find something that would work!  This is a center step card with the butterflies in the center floating above the sentiment.  This was done by using small strips of window sheets and securing them to the back of the "step" where the sentiment goes.
Here is the inside of the card which gives you plenty of room to sign and write a birthday wish.

Here is a picture of the measurements for cutting and scoring for this card.

From Land to Sea....

Here is a card we recently made using the From Land to Sea stamp set.  See the Soft Suede backing behind the turtle?  I love using things in ways that they are not intended to be used.  In this case, this is the Wondrous Wreath framelit.  Did you recognize it?  We used the AquaPainter and ink to color the turtle but used Versamark ink for the jellyfish.
Here, on the inside of the card, we used a Soft Sky marker to lightly color on the jellyfish stamp and then also used a Sahara Sand marker to just touch on small areas of the stamp to give a two-tone effect.
