Pretty Poinsettias....

 Nothing says Christmas quite like a poinsettia.  I mean, really, besides Christmastime, when do you see these plants?  When I was young, my mother planted one just outside her front door after Christmas.  It grew big but never got the beautiful red flowers - just lots of big green leaves!

Here is another use for your spider web doilies left over from Halloween.  We used just the tips along the bottom of the Gold Glitter ribbon.

Stampin' Up!'s New Precision Base Plate

Today I have a video for you of the new Precision Base Plate.  I will be honest that when I first saw this, I wasn't going to get it and had heard some mixed reviews on it.  I ended up ordering it and now I love it!  Watch this video for some tips and tricks I found with the plate.  Remember each Big Shot has a different tension so play around with yours until you get the results you want.

Silent Night....

 These trees were one of the first things that I fell in love with when I saw the Holiday Catalog back in July.  Being from California and having a drought for the past several years, I miss snow filled winters in the mountains and the stillness you feel up in the trees.  That is the way that this stamp set feels to me.

Remember, you don't always have to align your sentiments straight.  Because the trees are weighted on the left side, I balanced the card by stamping a portion of the sentiment more to the right.

The Christmas Cards Start Now!.....

I bet you are starting to think about your Christmas cards this year or perhaps you have even begun making them.  Over the next several weeks, I will share with you several Christmas cards that I have made this year.  I hope that they inspire you!  This card was made using the Project Life Hello December 2015 stamp set.  If you were thinking that this set is limited to Project Life scrapbooking - think again.  I love this set for cards too!

I have put together a quick video to show you how to get your sentiment to wave so it fits within the banner.  In this case, the "season's greetings" comes from the Happy Scenes set.
