Tippin' on Tuesday with A Little Wild Stamp Set

There is something so sweet about this stamp set and while it says baby/child, it really can be used for anyone.  I mean, really, wouldn't this little bear bring a smile to your face if it came in the mail to you?

In the video, along with a few other tips, I show how to conserve your washi tape and also how to get colored faceted gems.  Finally, watch the entire video for a sweet tip at the end (literally)!

Fast & Fabulous on Friday - Label Me Pretty

Have you heard the phrase "Life is what happens when you are busy making plans".  Well that was my week!  My apologies for those who were disappointed this week when no Tippin' on Tuesday showed up on YouTube or here.  I had been on vacation in Bodega Bay, California, and was not supposed to be home until yesterday or today.  Instead I received a call on Monday and was back in town that night and spent the entire day on Tuesday at the hospital with my mom.  Fortunately, she is on the mend and I am getting back into my routine.

Today's card uses the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper which I just love!  There is just something about the black paired with the pastels.  The window sheet on the front adds an shine to the card.
I enjoy looking at stamps, punches and dies and seeing if I can use them in a way that is unexpected.  Here, I took the pretty label punch and cut them lengthwise to create this unusual bordering for the inside of the card.

Fast & Fabulous on Friday - Big on Birthdays

I first saw this Big on Birthdays stamp set and laughed at the "At least you're still pretty" stamp.  I know a number of people who can't see using this stamp but I have several friends who would crack up to receive it!  We will even occasionally use the phrase when one of us does something or says something wrong.

Have you tried playing with the new washi tape?  The name of this one - Pick a Pattern - should be Pick a Pattern & Color because you can use a couple of them on top of your cardstock and create a different look.  So much fun to play around with!

Happy 4th of July! A Card to Celebrate With Using At Home With You

Happy 4th of July to you!  I hope you are spending the day with friends and family celebrating our independence day.  We are attending a block party for the street that our house faces - they have designated us as honorary Gull Drive members so we are included!  I wanted to make a special card for the hostess for all of the effort she is going through to put the event on.  I thought this would be a perfect card.
Here's what you see when you open the door on the front of the card.  I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  I love this stamp set because you can use any sentiment you want - or have the patience to stamp out!
