The Lazy Days of Summer.... Or Not!

Are you enjoying the lazy days of summer?  What does that really mean because I can tell you that mine is definitely not the lazy days!  The last two weeks of May, I was in Montana and came home for three days before leaving for a two week trip to Alaska.  Home for a couple weeks and then to Bodega Bay for a couple weeks.  Heading home tomorrow and in two weeks, I will be heading back to Montana to assist in packing our daughter and her boyfriend up to move to the Sacramento area.  All that to explain why you will see intermittent gaps in my blog posts.

For today, here is a card that we made recently at class.  We used markers in Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Garden Green and Mossy Meadow on the bonsai with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede on the trunk.  The pot is colored using Poppy Parade.  We used the direct to stamp technique.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.  The other thing that I wanted to showcase is the new Subtle embossing folder.  In the catalog, it is very difficult to see the pattern so I wanted to use it so you can see how pretty it really is.  I sponged the embossing so that it shows even better.

The sentiment on the inside is from the Kindness & Compassion stamp set and the Botanical Tags Thinlits.

I would love to be your Demonstrator if you don't already have one.  You can order from me if you live anywhere in the United States.  When setting up your account, please do not check the box where it says I cannot contact you - I want to be able to thank you properly when you place an order!  If you check the box, all I know is "No Contact" placed an order and I can't thank you.
