Stampin' Up!'s Clearly For You stamp set....

This is my last swap card from convention.  I figured I better have a card ready for you because I am exhausted from convention but it was a blast!  Over the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing cards and information that I received at convention so stay tuned!
This card was a bit more involved than some of the others.  The cardstock I used was Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Paisley Petals DSP.  The ink colors are Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, River Rock and Crumb Cake.  The ribbon is the Baja Breeze seam binding - I just love the seam binding ribbons and am so glad that Stampin' Up! kept them in the new catalog!

Stampin' Up! Convention Make & Take Card...

Every year at Stampin' Up!'s Convention, we have a session for Make & Takes.  Usually I am so tired by then (I select an afternoon session) that I end up sitting and visiting with other demonstrators instead of making the card.  That means I end up with the card materials back at home with me.  During a recent craft room purge, I came across the materials for making this card so I thought I would finish it up.  I think it is a very effective way of using the crimper tool.

Lots of Layers using Elegant Soiree

This card was inspired by a card that caught one of my friend's eye on a website.  I thought it would be a great card to use the Clearly for You stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog along with the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper.  I especially like how the circles on the background paper perfectly line up with the scallop circle.  Totally not planned but so effective anyway!
