Wedding Bells...

I rarely attend weddings anymore - perhaps it is the age - so when someone wants a wedding card, off to SplitcoastStampers I go! I cased this card and even had to borrow the stamp set for the sentiment because I no longer had it because it was retired last year but it was so cute that I had to do it.

The bells are from the Embellished Events set.

Stampin' Up!'s Embellished Events...

 Here is a card we made at a recent workshop.  I like the monochromatic look with just a splash of color.  The patterned paper is a retired paper from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP but with the new Positively Chevron background stamp, you could create this look easily.  The splash of yellow is actually made with Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon adhered to a piece of Basic Black.  It was then attached to the DSP at an angle and then trimmed on the sides.

Stampin' Up!'s Embellished Events....

 Here is a card that we made at a recent workshop.  Have you tried out the new photopolymer stamps from Stampin' Up!?  We are currently offering two choices in this type of stamp.  The sentiment above comes from the Bombs Away stamp set which has some great sentiments for birthdays.  The cake was stamped with Riding Hood Red, Lucky Limeade, Basic Gray and Island Indigo markers on Whisper White cardstock.  The cardstock was then covered with the multipurpose adhesive sheet and then covered in glitter..

The window was made by using the 1 1/4" square punch.  I punched out four squares from some post it notes making sure that the adhesive on the back was part of the square.  I then laid these out onto the Basic Gray cardstock in the pattern for the window and then punched them out.  This way you know exactly where you are punching!

Stampin' Up!'s Embellished Events....

 Here is a card that we made back in December at a workshop that uses the Embellished Events stamp set.  It is a quick and easy card for welcoming a new baby.

Embellished Events Stamp Set...

Here's a card that I cased from my upline, Stella MacKay - thanks Stella!  As usual, I added my own touches to the design since I am never good at just copying.
