Identifying Your Ink Pad Colors When Open..

Do you ever have this happen to you?  You have several ink pads open at the same time and accidentally stamp in the wrong one because you mistake which one is which color?  If you have, take a couple minutes and watch my video for a resolution to this problem.  I will show you to tell what color each pad is when they are open.
Well, what do you think?  Easy, isn't it?

Stampin' Up!'s Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set...

This is one of the most versatile stamp sets that Stampin' Up! has put out in years and one that I had to have right away.  Here is another Lever card using the Cherry on Top Paper Stack.  I ran the stack's balloon piece through my Big Shot using the Striped Scallop thinlet.  I will suggest that if you want your patter to be perfect, you number the back side of the pieces before taking them out of the die.  I also put a piece of double sided adhesive on the back of the paper before cutting it out to make it easier with this die.  Hang onto the patterned piece that is left over as it gets used on the inside of the card!
Here is the inside of the card with the panels are pulled all the way out.
And finally, here is what it looks like when you have the panels folded up but the front open.  The striped scallop piece is left over from when we used the pieces to fit inside the Watermelon Wonder striped scallop piece.

A Lever Card....

It amazes me how people come up with various types of cards for us to make but I sure am grateful!  About three months ago, these lever cards were all the rage.  I was seeing them everywhere - including at a recent Stampin' Up! downline meeting.  Christine Bellow brought this card for us to make using the Hello Life stamp set.  Super cute!

Here's how we finished the inside of the card.  Instructions on how to make one of these cards is on my list of videos to put together so I will get one out soon.  If you can't wait, you can find instructions on YouTube or on Splitcoaststampers.

You've Got This...

Here is a card that we made at a recent downline meeting.  One of the attendees brought it to share for us to make.  I am not sure if she CASE'd this card from someone or not.  In any event, it isn't one of my designs but I still wanted to share it with you because it is so pretty!

Stampin' Up!'s 2015-2017 In Colors...

When this year's In Colors were announced, lots of demonstrators began making card groupings to highlight the cards and coordinating supplies.  One of my customers found a card posted on the internet (I am sorry I don't know whose artwork) and asked if we could do a couple cards like that.  She followed that up by asking for an old-style box to go with them.  Here's what I came up with.  The box is made using the embossed paper from Sale-A-Bration but Stampin' Up! followed that up with the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper which you could use.
Here is a close up image of one of the cards in the Watermelon Wonder.  There are hundred of stamping companies vying for our craft dollars these days but you cannot beat the coordination that Stampin' Up! offers!  I can always count on all of their products working seamlessly together.
