How Many Butterflies?

 I made this card up for a recent workshop (ok, maybe a month or two ago).  This picture doesn't really show it well but the words from Watercolor Words are stamped on Basic Black cardstock using Whisper White Craft Ink creating a look of chalk.  The detailed butterflies were cut out of the Black Glimmer paper which has been retired but you can use Basic Black cardstock with either Dazzling Diamonds or Clear Wink of Stella.  I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out a solid back for the largest butterfly since the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits do not have one.

Four Panel Z Fold Card....

 We created this four panel Z Fold card at a recent class as well.  I had not seen this card done before and stumbled across some instructions for it.  Super quick and easy!  I wish I knew where I found it - I just had my notes to recreate it from.  Below is a video on how to make this card.

Here is the card completely opened up.  It is a great card to embellish!

Direct to Paper - Make Your Own Background Paper...

 I usually do not directly CASE cards but I came across this card by Ruby-Hearted Mom on Splitcoaststampers and I loved it so much I had to do it too!  The only change I made was to the sentiment as the request was for a "Thinking of You" card.

To do the Direct to Paper technique, just drag the edge of your ink pad on a piece of Very Vanilla or Whisper White card stock.  Each piece will be different which is half the fun!  After making the background, we made squiggles using a Basic Black marker and stamped the flower using Black StazOn.  We then stamped the flower again on Whisper White cardstock and cut out just the flower itself - thank you Scan N Cut!

Here is a card that we made at a recent downline meeting.  One of the attendees brought it to share for us to make.  I am not sure if she CASE'd this card from someone or not.  In any event, it isn't one of my designs but I still wanted to share it with you because it is so pretty!
