Pop on By....

The name of this set - Pop On By - seems perfect as it was new and then before I knew it, it was retiring.  I really liked this stamp set but didn't get much chance to work with it prior to it retiring.  Here is the only card I made with it.  I will miss you....

Products Used in this Project:

  • Stamp Sets - Pop on By & At Home with You
  • Inks - Memento, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron

Happy 4th of July! A Card to Celebrate With Using At Home With You

Happy 4th of July to you!  I hope you are spending the day with friends and family celebrating our independence day.  We are attending a block party for the street that our house faces - they have designated us as honorary Gull Drive members so we are included!  I wanted to make a special card for the hostess for all of the effort she is going through to put the event on.  I thought this would be a perfect card.
Here's what you see when you open the door on the front of the card.  I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  I love this stamp set because you can use any sentiment you want - or have the patience to stamp out!

Fast & Fabulous on Friday - Just Add Color Designer Series Paper Pack

Did you get into the adult coloring book craze?  I didn't so much but when I saw this Just Add Color paper, I could see so many fun things to do with it.  First of all, the images are bold and lend themselves to some really fun colors - and the bonus for me is that I could see cutting them out using my Scan N Cut!

A friend is a real estate agent and I told her that I would make up some cards for her to give clients when they purchased a new home.  While I am going to make several using the door from the At Home with You stamp set and dies, I thought these would be super fun too.

In the video, I show you how to hide the adhesive used to attach the acetate behind your ribbon and paper pieces so it doesn't show.  There's nothing worse than a glob of adhesive showing, is there?
